Do you have problems getting Flype to run? Here are some hints ...

Flype does not show "Connect"

Please make sure that both the Mac and your iTouch are on the same subnet, i.e. the WLAN and the LAN need to have similar IP adresses. Flype will also neither work over 3G networks, nor with very restrictive firewall settings on your home network.

Flype connects, but EarthGlider does not move?

There is a known bug in version 1.0 which is currently being fixed. However, there is a simple workaround. Please stick to this order:

  1. Start EartGlider on Mac
  2. Start Flype on iTouch
  3. Tap "Connect" on Flype's connection dialog
  4. Tap "Flype" in the toolbar

Now the view in EarthGlider should move and you can start flyping.
