HTML-VRCs are virtual remote controls designed with the vast possibilities of HTML.If you double-click a HTML file it probably will be opened with Safari or your configured web browser. To get a HTML file which represents a VRC opened directly in iRed,
select the HTML file in the Finder- open the Info panel ("Get Info" from the "File" menu)
- go to the the "Open with:" section and choose "iRed" from the popup list. Please don't click "Change All..." afterwards! This would open all HTML files with iRed which is surely not what you want
- the HTML file icon changes and so signals its association to iRed:
