iRed sports a new Tuner Assistant, which enables you to learn all necessary codes for your tuner in one simple session. Here is the screenshot of the Tuner Assistant in action:
You'll find the Tuner Assistant in the menu Tools.
When you have configured your tuner, you may then use Tuner Change Actions to send IR codes for channel changes with one click. A Tuner Action looks like this in the Inspector:
To add a new Tuner Change Action to the Inspector, choose Add Tuner Change from the Actions menu. You may then handle this action like any other action in the Inspector, e.g. add to a VRC button or add it to a triggers action list.
A new Tuner Manager lets you remove or re-configure existing Tuners:
