iRed2 - Remotes for the rest of us

 This is the list of features which are under construction or not implemented yet. They are mostly planned for being released in 2.0.

General

• Control iRed: no commandline interface, no sockets, no "ired://"...
• Open remotes in separate (smaller) window
• Fullscreen remotes (OSD - On Screen Display) like in iRed Lite
• Import of iRed Lite actions
• Copy/Paste of actions/action groups/remote button/....
• Localization to German, at least ;-)

User Interface

• Pressed buttons on remotes don't show feedback
• Templates for remote buttons or button groups
• Multiple selection in all lists (trigger, ...)
• Navigation actions: open remote, put remot online, goto layer
• Multiple trigger layers
• "Switch layers", for remotes with same overall layout, but different labels and actions 

Devices

• Serial Devices
• IRTrans configuration panel

On iPhone / iPod touch

• Browsing of all remotes / all actions
• More functions for "Now Playing" (in iTunes)
• Password protection for access to iRed
• Online repository
• Name of current remote on top of remote control page
