change remotes

Hi,

Ive spent 2 days scouring the manuals and "playing" to no avail.

step by step, how do I call a different remote from a key on an initial remote.

ie, I want a "Home Theater" remote, and a "Mac" remote and to be able to swiitch from one to the other directly.

I intended to use a sequence to turn the various equipment on and off as required and simultaniously change the remote viewed (on an iPhone through iRed2)

the manual is still to be written, but this screenshot should give you the important hints:

Navigation Action

(click for 100% view).

The button "Main" on the NavAndURL remote will switch to the remote "Sony Main" in the same window. Please note that this functionality is not yet exported to iRedTouch.

Thanks Robert,

I got it working with those tips.

Do you see the functionality to export the switch to iRedTouch or through iRed2 to an iPhone in the first release?

I will use a different design (one big remote) and scroll if it wont be available.

Can this be programmed within iRedTouch (without iRed2)?

Navigation on iRedTouch

 Jon,

Navigation actions need to be implemented in iRedTouch. There is no way to make it working yet, neither from within iRedTouch, not with an update iRed2.
