iRed2 crashing when trying to learn a new remote...

As the subject line says. I'm using a Mac Mini with an IRTrans USB on 10.6.2 and I can't for the life of me get learning to work. I might get one or two codes in and then bang it crashes. I try and start over again and the same thing happens. Any suggestions? I'm at a loss.

Regarding this issue
Regarding this issue I think it was being caused by my iPhone. I was using the iPhone to remote control my Mac and then pressing Learn and then when I used my actually pressing my real remote it would crash. When I used Remote Desktop from my laptop this wouldn't happen and the crashes went away.
